Kids Love Us, Parents Trust Us
Kids Love Us, Parents Trust Us
Our goal at Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry is to establish a strong foundation for lifelong oral health care by creating positive experiences with your child during each and every visit. To accomplish this objective, we commit to the following:
Ultimately, we want our patients to enjoy their visits and look forward to seeing us, as much as we look forward to seeing them!
Dr. Sarah Chang and her team are committed to helping your child attain and maintain excellent oral health from childhood through adolescence, which is what makes pediatric dentistry unique. Primary teeth, commonly referred to as ‘baby’ teeth, are very different than permanent or ‘adult’ teeth. Infants, children, pre-teens, and teenagers each require different approaches to guide their dental growth and development, to shape their health behavior, and to help them avoid future dental problems. Pediatric Dentists are specially trained to meet the specific needs of pediatric patients.
Are you tired of the large dental clinics with extensive wait lists, delays upon arrival, and inconsistent care? WE ARE DIFFERENT!
Our office is dedicated to patient-centered care. We try to see every new patient within two weeks and “emergencies” as soon as possible. Whether you are a new patient or already part of our ‘family,’ meeting your oral health needs in an efficient and timely manner is of utmost priority for us.
Our office attempts to schedule appointments based on your convenience and our availability. We recommend seeing children under 5 in the morning, because younger patients often require more attention and reassurance in order to be comfortable. Further, restorative treatments also take place in the morning for the same reason. For school-aged patients, dental appointments are considered an excused absence - thus routine visits are concentrated in the afternoon.
Since appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient, we ask that you please notify our office 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. We understand that unexpected things can happen, but please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule as needed. For further assistance in answering any questions or to schedule an appointment, please call our office at 770-971-5536.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
To ensure you and your child are comfortable, you are invited to stay during their initial examination. However, during future appointments, we suggest our staff solely accompany your child through their dental experience. This allows our staff to establish a closer rapport with the patient, which helps us boost their confidence, increase their level of independence, and overcome possible dental anxieties. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
Payment is required at the time of service for treatment. Every effort will be made to provide you with a treatment plan that will fit into your budget, schedule and that will give your child the best possible care. We accept cash, checks, most major credit cards, and other offers for an outside financing source. Our office participates in most PPO dental insurance plans. For any additional questions please contact our office.
We had a great visit, and we appreciated how patient the whole team is. Most important thing is Dr. Sarah provides very helpful information on how we can take care of our daughter's teeth and other issues outside of the office. And of course, the prizes and encouraging words helped my child relax and keep her happy! After our visit, we are eager to continue enhancing her teeth cleaning routine!
This dentist office is by far the best dentist we've ever been to! I have four kids, two of which are grown, so we've had our share of dentists. Our very first visit my girls were saying how much they love this dentist office. Every single employee is so nice and so understanding. They interact with you on more of a personal level than just business and my girls have said multiple times they like that the dentist and the other employees actually talk to them, unlike the other dentists that we've been to. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone they really are the best!
This was a great experience! It was my little boys first ever dentist appointment and I was afraid we were gonna have issues - he doesn't even let me brush his teeth without a lot of drama. But the hygienist that worked with him was so good. She had him giggling, and sparked his curiosity about the xrays and all the science. She was amazing! The whole thing was stress free and painless! The doctor came in and was also quick and thorough! Now, my son is very motivated to brush and maintain his oral hygiene.
My son is autistic and going to the dentist has always been difficult. Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry knows how to make all children comfortable about coming to the dentist. They talk to children and help them understand everything. We have been coming here since my son was really little and I recommend bringing your children here.
Dr. Sarah and her entire staff were incredible! Took my three-year-old daughter for her first dentist visit and the staff immediately calmed her nerves by giving her a tour and putting such a fun twist on every step of the process. They even sang "Baby Shark" while she was brushing her teeth. You could tell my daughter was nervous at the beginning, but she was such a trooper! I couldn't have imagined it going any better than it did. You have a customer for life! Or at least until 18. :)
