WE ARE DIFFERENT!
Our office is special. We try to see every new patient within two weeks, and we try to see “emergencies” as soon as possible, usually the same day – whether you are a new patient or one of our ‘family”. We are usually on schedule – we know your time is as valuable as ours. Children can also get ‘antsy” if they have to wait – so we are rarely late.
The pediatric dentist has an extra two years of specialized training and is dedicated to the oral health of children, dentistry for children, from infancy through the teenage years. The very young, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems. The pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet these needs. Also, it is highly recommended to get orthodontics treatment for a happy smile ever!
We, Pediatric Dentist in Marietta, Pediatric Dental Office, provide excellent dental care for children from infancy through adolescence, including those with special needs, enabling our patients to attain and maintain optimum oral health for their lifetime. We believe every child is precious and therefore treat every child in our office as if they were our own. Our goal in providing pediatric dentistry for your children is to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere in which your children will embrace good dental hygiene habits from the start. In order to achieve this we commit to the following:
To eliminate the fear many children associate with dental visits by providing care to your child in a fun, relaxed, and non-intimidating manner.
To provide patients and their parents with the right information to develop preventive dental skills for healthy teeth now and in the future.
To provide gentle quality dental care to infants, children, adolescents and those with special needs.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children are recommended seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. All restorative treatments will also be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued. Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard. Please call 770-971-5536 to schedule an appointment.
We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present. Our purpose is to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
Payment is required at the time of service for treatment. Every effort will be made to provide you with a treatment plan that will fit into your budget, schedule and that will give your child the best possible care. We accept cash, checks, most major credit cards and offers an outside financing source. Our office participates in most PPO dental insurance plans. For any additional questions please contact our office.
My son is autistic and going to the dentist has always been difficult. Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry knows how to make all children comfortable about coming to the dentist. They talk to children and help them understand everything. We have been coming here since my son was really little and I reccomend bringing your children here
Our experience at this office has been nothing less than amazing! The office is welcoming and Dr. Chang is highly knowledgeable and personable. I was concerned my 2 and 3 year old would not cooperate but she made my children’s first visit to the dentist a fun and easy experience! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommended Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry. Thank you Dr. Chang and team for taking such great care of my family!

Of you are looking for dentist for your children this is the place to go
Dr. Sarah and her entire staff were incredible! Took my three-year-old daughter for her first dentist visit and Irving immediately calmed her nerves by giving her a tour and putting such a fun twist on every step of the process. He even sang "Baby Shark" while he was brushing her teeth. You could tell my daughter was nervous at the beginning, but she was such a trooper! I couldn't have imagined it going any better than it did. You have a customer for life! Or at least until 18. :)
Great staff and Dr. All very knowledgeable. Had a cleaning for our 8 year old and they made her feel at ease. Needed some additional work and they were able to get it all done on the same visit. Thanks!!!!
